Hey ya'll! We hope you've enjoyed our blog spot so far. It's been fun for us to think of things that you might enjoy seeing. It makes us feel as if you are not so far away and that we are sharing our daily lives with you...especially that of Rhees growing up. Ms. Independent

Rhees has already become so independent she insists on getting herself dressed. This is what happened when she tried to put on one of my t-shirts. In case you can't tell, she has put her body through one of the sleeves of the shirt.

This morning she also tried to change her own diaper, when she couldn't reach a fresh one, she tried to put the dirty one back on. I discovered her in her room when she started yelling, "mommy help, help" when I got to her room, she was sitting on the dirty diaper trying to strap it on. I didn't get a picture, but that memory was priceless!

Rheesie's Favorite past-time

Here is Rhees doing what she loves best. She loves to color, paint, color, draw, and color.

Pedicures with Daddy!

Jared's dream come true! He's been waiting patiently from the day Rhees was born for his toenails to be painted by his little girl! Does she have him wrapped around her little finger or what!

Artwork comes to life!

Rhees found a cardstock photo mat, which she immediatly put to use to create her own "modern art"











Doesn't the artwork seem to just "pop" out at you!

Oh what a beautiful morning!

Here is an idea of what Jared goes to work to and Jenny comes home to in the morning! The sunrise seems so close to us and it is so breath-taking! You can see this view from our side porch.

Some Oldies but goodies!

Oh what a little angel! She was teeny tiny! It is hard to believe that she was ever that small.



Ahhh, the lazy days! What a cute pair! Looking at this makes me want to pull up a blanket and snooze away!



Look at those tiny little feet! She barley fit into that rocker. Now that rocker is in storage because she's gotten too big for it. Ahhh....a tear drop has just left my eye! My baby is growing up.

Here's baby Rhees with her cute little plumber's crack (the only time plumber's crack is cute!). You can also see how very tiny she was. Jared's hands about cover her entire body!
