The shock of the century!

I know! After you pick yourself up off the floor from having fallen off of your chairs from the shock of me updating this blog within a 2 week time period (has to be some sort of record for myself) I just want to reassure you that, yes, everything's alright and no, I haven't been abducted by aliens and replaced with a different, more improved version of myself. I just had the desire to get back to life on this thing!

Things in the Hancock household are as crazy as ever, and we are now feeling the fast approach of a new school year and life approaching. Jared's new school semester will be starting next week, and I am truly glad that he opted to do more online courses this semester. With his schedule being as crazy as it is with work alone, it'll be nice to still be able to see him every once in a while, even with school starting. He will still have one on-campus class, but that will only be one night per week. Rhees starts preschool on the 18th, and I can't believe that she's old enough to be starting! In my mind, it's hard to believe that almost 5 years has gone by! I can't even believe that we been living in the same state for almost 2 years....not to mention the same house! Pretty sad that that's a record for us....

Jared and I have started the home scouting process. We are hoping to be able to purchase or build a home when our rental lease ends this October. Safford is not cheap however, and we are having a hard and frustrating time finding homes in our price range that will work for us. As you can see from the quote, Rhees' only criteria is that it has to have a dog house. In her little mind, the only reason we don't have a dog is because our landlords Al and Barb won't let a dog live here. Thus, we'll need a proper home for the dog once we move from here. I haven't had it in my heart to disallusion her quite yet. Especially since the poor kid is allergic to dogs, and any dog we get would have to be hypoallergenic.....

Ainslee, I think, will have the most difficult time with Rhees attending school. This little one does not adapt to change very well, and not having big sis with her in day care will certainly be a shock to her system. She had the most difficult time while Rhees was in Utah. She kept running around the house saying..."EEES, EEES, momma eres EEES?!!" Poor kid doesn't know what's about to hit her. Luckily it's just for 2 hours a day and not all day long like kindergarten will be!

Well people......I think you've heard enough from me for this post, and hopefully I can keep this bug going so that a new post within such a short time limit won't be such a shock to everyone's systems! Until then......
