So I was tagged by my cousin Serenity. I've never done one of these before, but I thought, what the heck. The rules are that I tell 7 interesting/weird facts about myself and then pass it on to 7 other people. So here it goes!

1. I've always gotten my hair cuts on the spur of the moment. I never sit down and plan how I want my hair, or what I want to do. One morning I wake up, decide I don't like my hair and find a way to get to a salon that day to get it changed. I've gotten my hair permed, cut, colored, all on last minute spur of the moment decisions.

2. I'm only really truly tickleish when I'm tired. If you try to tickle me when I'm not fatigued, it doesn't work.

3. I cannot start a project and not finish it in one setting. If I begin to sew/paint/build an item, I cannot stop until it is done. I hate leaving things partially finished. I will stay up all night if I need to to get it done. Jay is the opposite of me when it comes to this and we drive eachother crazy!

4. I can wiggle my ears....it makes Jay really jealous!

5. I have what Jay calls the Larsen attention span. I can carry on a full conversation with someone and minutes later not know a thing that was said. If I don't give something my full on attention, then I miss what's truly going on.

6. When I'm really excited or mischevious, I have a tendancy to bite the right side of my lower lip. Jay loves it! It tips him off when I'm about to do something.

7. When I hear music, I can't not move some part of my body to the beat....even if someone is just whistling or humming.

So there you have it!

I tag Danalin, Audrie, Nikki, Kim W., Kristen, Joni, and Kat

Pumpkins in Perpetual Motion, Fairy Princess', and Purple Dragons, Oh MY!!!!!

Well Halloween has come and gone, and with it, my sanity! As I've already posted, I've been working a lot of extra hours as of late, and combine that with the home buying process, things have been a bit on the crazy side. Throw into that a 5 year old that couldn't make up her mind about what she wanted to be for Halloween, and you get a frazzled mother frantically sewing costumes 3 hours before the trick-or-treating festivities are to begin. Rhees actually got to be two things this year. She wanted to be a dragon, but I just didn't have the time to make her a dragon costume for her preschool party the day before Halloween. So, she agreed to go as a fairy princess to her party as long as she got to be a dragon for trick or treating. As for Ainslee, I had no clue what I was going to make her for Halloween, until I was playing with the girls with one of their new Halloween barbies that Grandma Anni and Papa Steve sent them for Halloween. One of the barbies was dressed as a pumpkin, and I got to thinking, that would be really easy to make, thus I then packed up the kids, faced the hoards of people doing last minute halloween shopping at Walmart, bought some material, and rushed home to make a pumpkin costume and the promised Dragon costume. A lot of last minute, self induced stress, however it all became worth it when Rhees said, "mom you are the best mom ever, and that pumpkin costume and my dragon costume are the best costumes I've ever seen!" So here they are in all their glory! I couldn't get my perpetual motion child to stay still so unfortunately, all her pics are blurred, but you get the idea! Oh, and Happy belated Halloween everyone! (Ps, Rhees struck all her own poses, She cracks me up!)
