Well, at this point I don't have any pics to post....but hopefully soon I can add some. I wanted to do something special on the blog for my BIG girl Rheese last week since it was her 5th birthday, but unfortunetely was unable to because we had taken a last minute trip up to Utah. About a week and a half ago we received a phone call that Jay's Grandpa Thomas had passed away. This was a very unexpected and shocking event for our family! Many of Jay's favorite childhood memories revolve around his grandpa Thomas, and his passing away has been especially difficult. The funeral was on October 4th, and so we made some last minute arrangements and left Wednesday evening to make the drive back to Utah for the funeral. Unfortunetely, Rhees' birthday was Thursday. So, we spent most of her birthday in the car. Thankfully she was so excited to be able to spend her birthday with her cousins and Grandmas and Grandpas, that she didn't complain one bit! We arrived back home on Monday night, and Jay and I had to go back to work the next morning so now is the first day I've had to be able to post anything about this. So even though it's a week late, I want to tell you all about my amazing little Rhees!

Rhees was born October 2, 2003. She was 5 lbs 14 oz and was the best baby ever. She's never had much of a problem adjusting to change, which is a very good thing due to the fact that in her 5 years, she has lived in 5 different homes and 4 different States. She's always been the most friendly child and wants to be everyones friend. She amazes Jared and I with her wit and sarcasm every day, and keeps our family laughing! She is the best big sister, and helps me so much with Ainslee! She has a humongous heart and hates to see people hurting. She seems to make it her goal in life to make sure anyone who needs a hug can get one. Everyday she makes me so pround and I feel so blessed that Heavenly Father saw fit to allow me to be her mother! She is one of my greatest blessings and we are so happy that we have been able to know her for the past 5 years and look forward to the years to come! Happy late birthday Rheesie! I'm so glad that you belong to me!
