It's Rhees' B-day today. She has been so excited and has been telling everyone she comes in contact with for the past month and a half that "it's almost her birthday!!!" I'm having a hard time accepting that my baby girl is already 6 years old! She was born on a Thursday afternoon 2 weeks early, after many stopped attempts to come earlier. She weighed in at a whopping 5 lbs 14 oz and was the best baby ever!
With her new "mature" age comes many new talents and faucets of personality that are so fun to discover. She loves gymnastics and was invited to be on a performing team this year. She's also convinced that when she grows up, she's going to be a violin playing gymnastic teacher. She's fascinated with the human body and loves to help mommy do her Anatomy and Physiology homework so she can learn all about "what's under her skin". She's just as sarcastic as her parents, (heaven help us!) and loves to play praticle jokes on her unsuspecting mom and dad. She loves to help around the house and creating things, and has quite the creative imagination. She also loves being the big sister that she is and is always asking that someday she can "be a big sister to more than just Ainslee".....we'll have to see on that one.
We are so blessed to have such an awesome girlie in our family and hope that Rheesie has the best birthday this year!
