patty cake, patty cake, bakin' man!

So I have to be the luckiest gal alive to have married such an awesome husband. I know I've said it before, but I sure do love the guy I married!

Those who live close to us know that Jared loves to bake. (which is a wonderful thing because I despise it!) He is well known for his amazing chocolate chip cookies and especially his brownies (which are always in high demand) but now he has added bread to his repretoire. We had some overripe bananas, so instead of waiting for me to get my act together and bake banana bread (which, let's face it....would never happen), he jumped in a did it. And let me tell you....SUCCESS! We had yummy delicious banana bread, followed by the chocolate dipped strawberries he made for me right after. Did I mention I love this man!

So, I decided something. I HATE desert bugs. Not only are they ugly and big....but most of them are poisonous. Look at the lovely friends we've been finding on and in our house lately...... EWWWWWW!!!!!

Icky scorpian I killed inside the house kinda mangled it when I killed it, but you get the point.....biggest one I've seen here yet.

These are just a few of the lovely buggies I've gotten pics of......don't even get me started on the centipedes or rattlers! I C K Y!!!!!!! I figured that if I have to suffer with the yucky bugs....I wanted to share the skin crawly feelings with all of you! What can I say....but EWWWWWW!
